Guatemala City, May 1 (AGN).- To help small agricultural producers in the highlands, the President Bernardo Arevalo Huehuetenango visited high-tech agricultural facilities and cultivation centers in Chiantla.

The Innova project facilities are located in the municipality of Chiantla, about 15 minutes from the departmental capital Huehuetenango, providing technical assistance, access to technology, access to markets and improving nutrition for farmers and their families in the western highlands of the country.

And knowing that agriculture is the largest source of employment in the region, the project will promote first-world agricultural technology and access smallholder farmers to create greater productivity and earn more income to support their families.
