Since April 11, agonizing uncertainty has surrounded the family of missing 24-year-old Pierina Lutena Guevara. He requested a taxi through the app on his way home from the hospital, and his whereabouts were unknown thereafter.

The disappearance of the young nursing student has left her family in disarray and they have launched several campaigns to find her. However, recent reports have provided clues as to his whereabouts.

More than a week after her disappearance, Pierina Ludeña's immigration certificate shows her departure for Chile on April 12.

How did the young nursing student disappear?

According to the young woman's ex-partner, on the day of her disappearance, she had gone to a health center in Chorrillos with the intention of getting some injections, after which she requested a taxi through an application to return home.

“Around 4:00 to 4:30 PM he goes to Sori Salut to get some blisters. We had no idea till 17:00 pm. The last person she spoke to on the phone was her boss”, Nils Grimaldo revealed.

The victim's family has ruled out that the 24-year-old girl went missing on her own volition as, they said, she has a two-year-old son and is currently a scholarship recipient of the National Scholarship and Education Loan Scheme. (Pronabec) which allows her to study nursing at the University of Cayetano Heredia.

On the other hand, the young woman would have sent a message to her mother confirming that she had been abducted and threatened by her callers. He also said that he was following the instructions as he was afraid that there might be an attempt to kill him and his younger son.

“Mommy, I was kidnapped. If I return they will kill me and my son. That is why I have been following the advice of those who have been calling me for so long. I don't know anything, mother, if I tell, they will kill you, my son. It's my fault mom”,

The mother of a missing young woman goes to Chile to ask the authorities for help

The young woman's mother, Cloydith Guevara, announced that she was going to Chile to search for clues and find her daughter's whereabouts. The woman tearfully asked for the authorities' help in finding Pierina Lutena's whereabouts.

“I go to Chile to follow clues, clues or anything that can get me closer or reach me. People I know can help me there. All I ask is that you help me figure it out, nothing more“, he pointed out.

The nursing student's family fears that the young woman is a victim of human trafficking and has therefore appealed for help from anyone who may have seen her and report her to the police.
