The new low reheat option has been tested in more than 30 supermarkets over the past 2 years, in hot and cold climates. The company claims that measurements show energy savings of more than 10% compared to the old refrigeration system.

Low superheat allows vaporizers to operate at a very low superheat setting without the risk of backing up liquid CO2 compressors. In general, the evaporation temperature can be increased by about 4-5 K, which provides an energy saving of about 10%.

The new Low Superheat option is based on Advancer’s Ultra Low Superheat module, which was introduced to the market a year ago. This volume led to the creation of a complete production line for the brand. While the Ultra Low Superheat module is suitable for high capacity units above 100 kW, the Low Superheat option is aimed at capacities below 100 kW.

Kenneth Bank Madsen, Advancer’s CTO, says: “We’ve had great success with very little reheat in large supermarkets. Low-efficiency segments such as medium-sized supermarkets should also benefit from energy savings with competitive solutions. That’s why we introduced Low Superheat as a standard option in the ValuePack plant.

This is how it works
A low superheat volume eliminates superheating by increasing the evaporation temperature, therefore reducing the temperature difference, which requires less energy for cooling and leads to greater energy savings. The solution is capable of removing all liquid CO2 from the suction line, ensuring safe compressor operation and optimal energy efficiency.

Value pack light
Likewise, the brand offered the ValuePack Light plant, an ultra-compact CO2 climate solution for small supermarkets and shops.

With a height of just 1570mm, the Wallpack Light control panel fits into tight spaces such as basements and small machine rooms and offers capacities up to 45kW (MT) and 15kW (LT).

CTO Kenneth Madsen explains: “It is one of the most compact power plants on the market with that capacity. At the same time, it is a very energy-efficient solution with dead cylinder technology as standard on the MT1 compressor and optional heat recovery, which uses excess heat from refrigeration processes to heat space or water.” .Energy Conservation”.
