Faculty of Economics and Commerce conducts XXXVII Conference on Industrial Economics

Explanation

UPV/EHU’s Faculty of Economics and Business hosts the XXXVII Conference on Industrial Economics, the largest national event in the field of industrial organization. It will bring together around 100 experts from the university and regulatory sector.

The following will participate in the inaugural schedule:

  • John Barrutia, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business. UPV/EHU.
  • Aitor Ciareta, president of the local committee. Department of Economic Analysis, UPV/EHU.
  • Joe Seldeslagts, Chair of the Scientific Committee. DW Berlin and KU Leuven.
  • Ricardo Flores-Fillol, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Industrial Economics Conference. University of Rovira and Virgili.

The conference is an annual international meeting of industrial economics researchers organized by the Industrial Economics Committee of the Spanish Economic Association (AEE). Since 1985, the meeting has provided an opportunity for industrial economics researchers to discuss their current work, share ideas and network. For more than three decades, the meet has attracted hundreds of participants from various countries.
