Adds clarity in Relumino mode
Born out of Samsung’s incubator, Relumino Mode is designed to improve the lives of people with low vision by increasing the visibility of text and images on screen. This feature improves screen contrast and brightness and enhances the contours and shapes of images, allowing users to easily find content on their devices.
To understand the perspectives and needs of our users, we collaborated with low vision consultants, researchers, engineers, programmers and testers to develop a solution for inclusive visual displays. Relumino Mode is the product of years of research and development to advance Samsung’s goal of providing “displays for all” and improve the viewing experience for people with low vision. This new feature is available in Samsung series Galaxy S24 and behind.
From following a ball during a sports match to reading small text on a newscast, Relumino Mode Enables visually impaired users to connect with the world and enjoy the content that matters most to them.
Running Relumino:
Provides audio explanations with TalkBack
TalkBack feature, also known as Voice Assistant, is designed to help users with low or no vision get the most out of their device experience without looking at a screen. This feature replaces smartphones and tablets Galaxy Intuitive audio interface. As users navigate their devices, Talkback can provide voice feedback for anything they touch, highlight or select, such as menus, emails and notifications. You can also enable TalkBack shortcuts for smoother navigation.
The screen is easy to navigate. TalkBack gives users the freedom to conveniently control their devices with simple gestures like swiping left, double tapping or using two fingers to scroll.
Activating the TalkBack feature:
- Launch the Settings app, then select Access
- Toga “Speak Back”
- Tap the switch to activate talk back
Brings media to life with live captioning
Direct title It enables the hearing impaired to effortlessly follow their favorite media and audio content. This feature transcribes the audio while running on the device in real-time. With Live Caption, users can better enjoy videos, podcasts, phone and video calls, audio messages and voicemails.
Live caption is available in English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Promoting inclusion through accessories and wearables
Amplifying the world through surround sound

Redesigning your Galaxy Watch with Universal Gestures
