Thanks to the Epson Interactive Teaching System projection system, second-cycle preschoolers at the Pare Manyanet Les Courts School (Barcelona) discover the life and artistic legacy of the well-known painter. Almudena Merono, teacher and coordinator of this cycle at the center, tells us.
The application of high-speed technology is one of the most innovative and demanding challenges for an educational community. Its integration into educational centers cannot be limited to the purchase or acquisition of technology; Continuous training of teachers and management team is also important. At our centre, we have implemented this through a project called ‘The Case of a Genius’: it has enabled us to create long-awaited meaningful learning focusing on the figure and work of Pablo Picasso. In this sense, designing a ‘more alive’ experience gives us many opportunities to accompany our students as they create their own learning based on guidelines, activities and learning situations designed by teachers.
