The President Municipal said that the Municipal Government 2021-2024 will always support everything in its territory that the La Rodadora Interactive Space Museum continues to live for many more years, a place that allows the girls and boys of Ciudad Juárez to dream. , Cruz Pérez Cuéllar at the venue’s 10th anniversary.

As the mayor spoke, he thanked them “because they have given him the most beautiful place where many girls and boys can dream and where many families can live together.”

It is a place that arises from the generosity of civil society and some Juarenses and I thank you as the municipal president for creating this place in the service of the community.

The municipal government reaffirms its commitment to support the museum in all its ways so that it will last 10 years and many more years, a meeting place for the community and a place where children can dream.

This place also reflects Juarez’s commitment and love for its community, as a small group of people dreamed of giving the people of Juárez something extraordinary, and now the museum is celebrating 10 years.

Board of Directors member Alfonso Murguia said this is a place to try to defeat a common enemy, which is ignorance.

Mercedes Jiménez, vice president of the Mexican Association of Museums, Science and Technology and director of Mexico City’s Museum of Natural History and Environmental Culture, recognized the museum as having heart and great social engagement.

Mexico needs places like this to make the country better, he said.

In 2004, the idea of ​​creating a different kind of museum was born, one that would be specifically aimed at children.

Thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of the group of young businessmen and with the support of the central, state and municipal governments, they agreed to make possible the presentation of the “Papalot Moville II” at the Omega Industrial Park.

During their stay at this stage, more than 200 thousand visitors arrived, which further reinforced the idea of ​​creating a permanent place for coexistence and significant learning in Ciudad Juárez.

In 2009, the state government donated the land, and the design and management plan was achieved with the contributions of the museum’s Board of Trustees, CONACYT-Municipal Government Mixed Funding, and project coordinator Pablo Romero Ramos.

In 2013, La Rotadora opened and has received around 2 million visitors to its facilities so far.

La Rodadora is the second largest interactive museum in Mexico, covering more than 32 thousand square meters.

The event was attended by members of the board of directors of the group, such as Alejandra de la Vega, Karen Alamo, Benito Fernandez, Francisco Gaydon, Carlos Murguia, Juan Carlos Orndia and Oscar Becerra. United States Ciudad Juarez, Eric Cohen and representative Oscar Ibanez of the state government.
