XIV Ibero-American Congress of Sports Economics, Organized by the Spanish Sports Economics Association (SEED) in collaboration with the Sports Management European Research Group (SMERG) and the Círculo de Gestores de Madrid. 130 Scientific Communications brings together more than 180 researchers from 11 countries And a comprehensive program of plenary conferences and parallel sessions consolidates itself as an essential event in the field.
The XIV CIED, under the motto “Investing in Sports: Smart, Sustainable and Global Management”, began on Wednesday, June 12, with an extraordinary visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.. Afterwards, participants participated in an innovative workshop on data analysis techniques and implementation of artificial intelligence in economics and sports management, led by Capgemini’s Data Scientist Alberto Ruiz-Artega González.
On Thursday, June 13, parallel sessions of the Congress began, where research on various socioeconomic aspects of sport was presented. Topics addressed include the competitiveness of leagues, the labor market in professional sports, the social importance of sports training, sports equipment, and physical activity in the workplace.
